Shower Your Way To Better Sleep

Ideally your body temperature starts to fall at night as you get ready for bed. However, if you have exercised late or had a big meal, this can elevate your body temperature at the wrong time and interfere with a good night’s sleep. If this happens, try a warm shower 1 - 2 hours before bed. The body reacts faster to changes in skin temperature than core temperature which is why this works to help the body cool off, allowing the body to then follow a more natural rhythm.
